Exam Grievance Redressal Mechanism
The Examination Grievance Redressal Committee at Ashaa Kirann Group of Institutions is dedicated to addressing student concerns regarding examinations in a fair and transparent manner. The committee ensures that all grievances are heard, analyzed, and resolved promptly while maintaining confidentiality.
Functions of the Grievance Redressal Committee
- Receiving complaints related to examinations and results
- Analyzing the grievances and verifying their authenticity
- Conducting meetings with concerned officers to reach a fair resolution
- Communicating decisions to the concerned student(s) in a timely manner
Objectives of the Grievance Redressal Mechanism
- Foster a cordial relationship between students and faculty while maintaining institutional dignity
- Ensure an unbiased and systematic process for resolving exam-related issues
- Provide a fear-free environment for students to express concerns
- Maintain confidentiality and fairness in the resolution process
- Guide students regarding rechecking and reevaluation procedures
- Ensure grievances are resolved efficiently and transparently
Procedure for Lodging an Examination Complaint
- Formal Registration: The aggrieved student submits a grievance form in the prescribed format to the Examination Section.
- Forwarding: The Examination Section forwards the complaint to the concerned department for review.
- Review & Resolution: The Grievance Redressal Committee thoroughly examines the case. For revaluation, the committee ensures results are published within 10 days of the request.
- Revaluation/Re-totaling/Challenge Process: The Examination Section processes the revaluation and releases the updated results within the stipulated time.
Closure of Complaint: The grievance is considered resolved and closed when:
- The student accepts the revaluation results
- The student does not respond within four weeks of receiving the resolution
Documentation
All decisions made by the Grievance Redressal Committee are documented in the Minutes of Meeting (MoM) for future reference.
