Supply Chain Management is a branch of management study that teaches methods on efficient storage and transportation of raw materials & finished products within & outside the factory so that there is neither deficiency nor surplus on the demand and supply side of requirements. PGDM in logistics and supply chain management teach us in ensuring hassle free movement of materials, from the procurement of raw materials for production to the handing over of the final product to the consumer,by also giving attention of areas includes procurement, transportation, inventory, warehousing, packaging and disposal. Transportation and storing of goods and services from the point of origin to the point of consumption to meet the requirements of customers and corporations is the nutshell of logistics & supply chain management.
Potential candidates should have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent GPA) from a recognized university. Institute-specific entrance examinations, CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT, or state-specific examinations are mandatory.
